The Library hosts one computer class per month (excluding June, July, and August). Topics range from internet and computer basics to Microsoft Office programs like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Registration is preferred, but not required, unless otherwise noted.
Saturday, January 27, 10:00 a.m. — Introduction to Excel
Excel is a spreadsheet program that allows you to easily store, organize, and manipulate data. In this introductory class we will learn the basics of Excel such as inserting text, AutoSum and AutoFill features, sorting data, and some shortcuts to make working with your spreadsheets easier.
Saturday, February 24, 10:00 a.m. — Facebook
This class will go over the basics of using Facebook. We will also look at the privacy settings such as who can see your information and how to unfollow and block people
Saturday, March 24, 10:00 a.m. — Introduction to PowerPoint
Learn how to use PowerPoint, a slide-based presentation program. This class does not require you to have any prior knowledge of PowerPoint, and is ideal for people who want to learn about the capabilities of PowerPoint for business or for school.
