The Library hosts one computer class per month (excluding June, July, and August). Topics range from internet and computer basics to Microsoft Office programs like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Registration is preferred, but not required, unless otherwise noted.
Saturday, October 7, 10:00 a.m. — Staying Safe Online
We will look at ways to stay safe online including tips for strong passwords, being able to identify and avoid some common online scams like phishing emails, and evaluate websites for safety and reliability.
Saturdays, November 4 and 11, 9:30 – 11 a.m. — Microsoft Word
Anne Godman will teach the basics of using Microsoft Word. The tips and topics discussed in this class will also be helpful when composing emails.
Saturday, December 2, 10:00 a.m. — Microsoft Publisher
Learn the fundamentals of making flyers, cards, banners, and more using Microsoft Publisher. We will make a Christmas card and learn how to use and edit templates.
