The Library hosts one computer class per month (excluding June, July, and August). Topics range from internet and computer basics to Microsoft Office programs like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Registration is preferred, but not required, unless otherwise noted.
Saturday, April 21, 10:00 a.m. — Intermediate Excel
This class will look at and use commonly accessed formulas and functions as well as work with tables in Excel. Basic knowledge of Excel is required.
Saturday, May 19, 10:00 a.m. — The Cloud
Have you heard of the Cloud, but you’re not quite sure what that means or where to go to access it? Take a look at some common cloud applications and learn how easy and convenient cloud computing can be.
Saturday, June 2, 10:00 a.m. — Finding Your Next Read
Looking for a good book to read this summer? This class will look at one of our online databases, NoveList, to help you explore what to read next. We will also look at free online resources such as Goodreads and Fantastic Fiction to get ideas for new books and new authors you might enjoy.
